IBAS General Conditions

These Terms and Conditions for the use of the IBAS Service present a general overview of the rights, obligations, and conditions for the use of the IBAS service.

The user must read and confirm acceptance of these Terms and Conditions before registering to use the IBAS Service.

1. Definitions

  • IBAS means the financial institution IBAS, which is the contracting party in this agreement.
  • IBAS Account means the account opened by natural or legal entities which enables the client to perform actions provided by IBAS.
  • Customer means the natural or legal person who has an IBAS account registered in their name.
  • Payment Transaction means the financial action consisting of debiting the customer's account and crediting the beneficiary.
  • Transfer means a self-service space for transferring funds from your IBAS account to another account.
  • Electronic contract means this contract made electronically or partly by electronic communication.

2. The services that IBAS offers

IBAS is a financial institution licensed by the Central Bank of Kosovo and provides services according to applicable regulations.

  • Payment services to parties with agreements such as public institutions and companies
  • Money transfer services
  • Cash withdrawal service from IBAS or authorized partners
  • Granting loans for payments

3. Account Opening at IBAS

Opening an IBAS account is a prerequisite for using the service through smartphones or other supported channels.

  • The client provides the required identification information
  • The account is activated after verification by IBAS
  • IBAS may request original documents where required by law
  • The client may choose one of the available account packages

  • Interest-free overdraft up to 30 days for eligible users
  • Hospital health insurance up to 25,000 EUR
  • Top-up from domestic or international banks
  • Payments for public institutions and insurance companies
  • Withdrawals from IBAS partners or cash-out points

5. Transactions

  • Transfer of funds to an IBAS account
  • Acceptance of funds transferred from an IBAS account
  • Payment of periodic invoices or invoices displayed in the app
  • Transfer of funds to another IBAS user
  • Withdrawal of funds where supported by IBAS

6. Activation, access and use of IBAS services

  • The IBAS account becomes accessible after verification of customer identity
  • Customers may access the account through biometrics where stored on the device
  • IBAS reserves the right to refuse opening or suspend an account where required by law or internal policy
